TEN-PIN BOWLING

Alleygators is the ONLY TEN PIN BOWLING ALLEY IN UGANDA. We have 6 competition standard lanes.

We cater for CHILDRENS PARTIES as well as CORPORATE and PRIVATE functions.

What is ten-pin bowling?
Ten-pin bowling (more commonly just "bowling" in the United States) is a competitive sport in which a player (the “bowler”) rolls a bowling ball down a wooden or synthetic (polyurethane) lane with the objective of scoring points by knocking down as many pins as possible. Find out more by clicking here.

ICE SKATING

Our ice skating rink is manufactured out of specially designed technology, used by the National Hockey League (NHL) of Canada and USA.

What is ice-skating?
Ice skating is moving on ice by use of ice skates. It can be done for a variety of reasons, including leisure, travelling, and various sports. Ice skating occurs both on specially preparedindoor and outdoor tracks, as well as on naturally occurring bodies of frozen water such as lakes and rivers. Ice skating works because the metal blade at the bottom of the skate shoe can glide with very little friction over the surface of the ice. However, slightly leaning the blade over and digging one of its edges into the ice ("rock over and bite") gives skaters the ability to increase friction and control their movement at will. Find out more by clicking here.

What is rollerblading?
Inline skates usually have 3 (if using 100mm or 110mm), 4, or 5 (80mm) wheels, arranged in a single line. Most commonly, if they have a stop, it is a heel stop. Inline skating is often done on the road, sidewalk, skate park various street furnishings like fences and steps, and on special tracks and areas. Some inline skaters compete in artistic skating events, though quads are still more typical for that use. Inline skates for artistic use tend to be designed more as an analog of the ice skate or artistic quad skate design, with a toe stop and rockered wheels. Find out more by clicking here.

RADIO CONTROLLED CARS

What is RC Racing?
